Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-3: fly out to short, fly out to left, RBI single to center, IBB, walk.

Angels 4 - Tigers 2
Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted fifth.  He went 0-for-4: ground out  to short, ground out to second, fly out to right, strikeout looking.

Orioles 2 - White Sox 1
Koji Uehara entered the game in the 8th, with the score tied at 1-1, and tossed a shutout inning in relief.  Final line: 1 IP, 4 BF, 1 H, 2 SO, 0 BB, 0 R, 0 ER.

Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted sixth.  He went 1-for-3: strikeout swinging, ground out to short, single to right, walk.

Hideki Okajima was placed on the 15-day DL on the 6th with a strained right hamstring.  Okajima apparently felt some discomfort in his hamstring after his outing on the 5th.

Akinori Iwamura started working out with the team again on the 5th (played some catch, took some fielding / batting practice, and ran the bases) and could be ready to start playing again as early at the 7th.

Ryota Igarashi tossed a scoreless 9th against the triple-A Columbus Clippers on the 6th and earned his second victory with the Buffaloes.  Igarashi is now 2-1.  Final line: 18 (10) NP (S), 4 BF, 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO, 0 HR.

Mac Suzuki apparently signed a deal with the Calgary Vipers of the Golden Baseball League.
