Katsuya Nomura was at Ni-gun Yomiuri vs Lotte game yesterday.  Seems he doesn't watch too many Ni-gun games (he told reporters that he doesn't remember going to too many outside of the game he managed) and was told by his son (a Ni-gun coach with the Giants) to give it a try.
