Games from the 22nd:

Yankees 10 - Mariners 0
Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-4: fly out to left, ground out to the pitcher, ground out to the pitcher, single to left.

Count down to 200: 38 games remaining, 40 more hits needed.

Twins 4 - Angels 0
Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted fifth.  He went 2-for-4: double to right, single to left, foul out to short, strikeout swinging.

Kazuo Matsui went 2-for-4 with a walk, strikeout, a run scored, and an RBI against the triple-A Fresno Grizzlies on the 22nd.  Matsui started at second and batted first.

Akinori Iwamura went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout against the triple-A Louisville Bats on the 22nd.  Iwamura started at third and batted second.

Kenshin Kawakami started a triple-A game against the Charlotte Knights on the 22nd and gave up 4 runs over 5.2 innings of work.  He was not involved in the final decision.  Final line: 87-61 NP-S, 22 BF, 5.2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 0 BB, 9 SO, 2 HR.

Hiroki Kuroda's next start was moved from the 24th to the 25th.  Seems Torre wants to give the start on the 24th to Ted Lilly so that the team can throw two lefties against the Rockies.
