A hero’s welcome for Konan

The people of Okinawa all appear to have caught the Konan bug. Seems about 4,000 people packed Naha airport yesterday to welcome the team and about another 3,000 showed up at the victory ceremony later in the day.
The team will now make the media rounds today.

I want to give a huge CONGRATULATIONS!! to the Konan team, and their Coach. I can’t imagine how proud the coach must be, since his team made it to the final four many years ago. I am proud for all the players, the coaching staff, and their very loyal Okinawa fans.
To Shimabukuro-san…..you have the heart of a Lion…!!
