Alex Ramirez (YOM) set a new NPB record tonight when he knocked out a 3-run homer in the 1st inning of Kazuki Yoshimi (CHU).  The 3-run homer gave him 102 RBIs on the year and made him the only player in NPB history to record 8 straight seasons of 100 or more RBIs (he broke the previous record of 7 straight seasons set by Sadaharu Oh in 1969).
