Tatsuro Iwasaki (CHU) nailed his first pro homer last night in a game against the Hiroshima Carp. Iwasaki's homer came in the bottom of the 10th with a runner on second and one out and Takayuki Oshima on the mound for Hiroshima. The home run ended up being a walk-off and made Iwasaki the 30th player in NPB history to hit a walk-off for his first pro homer of his career. Iwasaki was also the 6th player to hit a walk-off homer for the Dragons this year.
As a team, the Dragons have recorded 11 walk-off games this season. That ties the franchise high that was set by the 1988 Dragons.
