Atsushi Nomi pitches into the 7th in Ni-gun rehab start

Nomi hit 148km/h on the radar gun during his outing. And it seems he also convinced the Tigers that he was ready to rejoin the active roster as it now seems he'll most likely be starting the Ichi-gun game on the 9th against the Chunichi Dragons.

Atsushi Nomi (HAN) started a Ni-gun game today against Orix and pitched into the 7th inning (6.1 IP). He didn't give up any runs in his outing and allowed just 2 hits and struck out 10. Nomi threw a total 79 pitches.
