A few more specifics on the player injuries:

Yamazaki left with a right leg cramp (in his hamstring), something that could have come about due to the heat.

Obiki wasn't feeling well and taken to the hospital and given an IV to treat heatstroke.

Orix Buffaloes' GM Yoshio Murayama told reporters that clubs playing in non-domed stadiums need to reconsider game start times out of concern for players and fans.

According to the Buffaloes, about 20 complained of feeling sick due to the heat during today's games at Skymark Stadium.  And it seems Katsuki Yamazaki (SOF) and Keiji Obiki (ORI) both came out of the because they weren't feeling well.
