Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted fifth.  He went 0-for-3: ground out to second, fly out to center, walk, fly out to right.

White Sox 3 - Red Sox 1

Cubs 5 - Mets 1
Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-5: fly out to center, ground out to second, fly out to left, ground out to first, single to center.

Fukudome also attempted to lay down a sac bunt twice in his at bat in the 8th and failed to do so.  He did end up getting a single, but he apparently wasn't satisfied that he couldn't lay down the bunt.

===

Kenshin Kawakami doesn't know when his next start / appearance will be since it mostly depends on the status of Derek Lowe.
