Seth Greisinger (YOM) had a rehab start on the 12th (Ni-gun game against the Futures) and gave up 2 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings of work. It was his first outing on a mound since his Ichi-gun start against Chunichi on 8/24.
Greisinger's fastball was measured in the low 140km/h range, but he showed good control and struck out 5. He told reporters that he was able to pitch out of the set position without any problems, was able to keep the ball down, and that overall, he had a good outing.
Assuming everything is ok, Greisinger could be ready to start a game during the Giants' three game series against the Hanshin Tigers that begins on the 18th.
