Marty Brown extends his own record for ejections
by Gen on Sep.23, 2010 @ 10:59 pm, under NPB
Marty Brown (RAK) was ejected from his 4th game this season, an NBP high 12th time in his career.
With runners on first and second and 2 out in the 6th inning, Hiroshi Hirao (SEI) hit a grounder to short. The throw over to second by Kensuke Uchimura (RAK) and the throw appeared to pull Shintaro Masuda (RAK) off the bag but... the ump called the runner safe (although not before it seemed like he was about to motion an out). That got Brown out of the dugout to argue the call.
Youtube video after that jump, for those interested in seeing it.

Your video is not accessible in my country (France), too bad. You should try to link to toramania1′s videos, these are my visual links for Pro Yakyu. For exemple :

(but I believe you already know this user)
Anyway, thank you for your website !

Sorry, I never even thought about whether or not the official NPB videos would play outside of Japan. It makes sense that they don’t though.
As for linking other videos… I’ll try to keep that in mind next time. But I usually try to avoid linking to unofficial videos of recorded sports programs because they usually end up getting pulled when they get too much publicity.

I got a good chuckle when Brown went over to the second base bag to try and throw it, but failed when he couldn’t yank the base out of the ground.
That seemed to take all the wind out of his sail.
