The Seibu Lions held an emergency 3-minute meeting after yesterday's loss to the Nippon Ham Fighters.  A red-face Hisanobu Watanabe apparently was the first to walk out of the meeting room and told reporters that he was disappointed that they lost out on the league title because they ended up losing first.  He also mentioned that the team lost games they should have won and that they were lacking experience.

When asked what the difference was between the Lions and the Softbank Hawks, Watanabe said it was the managers.

The Yomiuri Giants will likely add Hisayoshi Chono to the active roster tomorrow.  He was set to join the Ichi-gun team for practice today.

Takahiro Iwamoto was under the weather and taken off the active roster on the 11th.  Healthy once again, Iwamoto was set to join the Ichi-gun roster for practice today and could be back on the active roster as early as the 29th.

Eichi Koyano (HAM) went 1-for-3 with an RBI on Sunday.  The RBI gave Koyano 109 on the year, good for third on the franchise all-time list.
