The Japan Student Baseball Association (JSBA) is hopeful that they will be able to make amendments to their charter so that pro players will be able to work with amateur players beginning in March of 2011. That includes playing games, practicing together, and holding courses for amateur players.
The JSBA visited the NPB offices today to show the NPB their current proposal. Moving forward, the two sides will continue to meet and deliberate what kinds of things need to be included in the final revision. The hope is for the new charter to be put to a vote near the end of February.
