The Central and Pacific Leagues both held board of director meetings in Tokyo earlier today and agreed that the 2011 season will begin on 3/25 (Fri).
The NPB held an executive committee meeting today and decided that that will begin to add inter-league games to the Ni-gun schedule beginning next year. It seems the inter-league games will added to the schedule, on top of the 108-game Eastern League schedule and 104-game Western League schedule.
The NPB announced that they will be holding a course on dealing with gangster organizations for the roughly 360 players attending the Phoenix League. The NPB will be working with the player's association and will be holding the course at a hotel in Miyazaki on the 13th. Assuming it's a success, the NPB plans to hold similar courses again in December and / or during Spring camp next year.
