K. Maeda to start tonight, attempt to avoid team’s 84th loss of year

The Hiroshima Carp currently have a record of 57-83-2 with 2 games remaining.  While the Carp don't have any worries about breaking the franchise record for most team losses in a season (96 losses set in 1950), they are in jeopardy of having their second worst season in terms of losses -- the 2005 team currently holds that distinction with a 58-84-4 record.

A victory tonight from Kenta Maeda will keep the Carp from, at worst, breaking 84 losses.
