3.2% decrease in 2010 Central League attendance

The final attendance figures for the Pacific League were released on Friday night.

While the Hanshin Tigers saw a slight drop in attendance, they still managed to top 3M. The Tigers have now led the CL in attendance the last 6 years and have topped 3M for the second time in as many years. The Yomiuri Giants drew the largest total since 2005 and saw a slight increase of 1.1%. The Hiroshima Carp saw the biggest change with a drop of 14.6%.

The average 9 inning game ended up lasting 3 hours and 12 minutes (up 5 minutes from last year).
