Lotte: planning a beer / sake celebration for Final Stage win?

by on Oct.14, 2010 @ 2:59 pm, under NPB

It seems the Chiba Lotte Marines are already planning a beer / sake victory celebration should they take the Final Stage from the Softbank Hawks.  They've already apparently secured 3,000 bottles of beer and are also thinking about preparing bottles of Norifumi Nishimura's sake for the could-be celebration.

Anyone ever tell the Marines about counting eggs before they're hatched?

Yoshihisa Naruse celebrated his 25th birthday yesterday.

It’s difficult to plan the party you are going to have after you win after you win. You can’t run to Family Mart after the last out and pick up happoshu.

I suspect all teams have a plan in place already; this one just got outed publicly.

Not arguing with you there. A lot goes into getting celebration parties ready. But with the series getting underway today and the Marines down 0-1 in the series, it seems like they could have waited until they had at least a couple wins under their belt.
