Yoshinori Tateyama worked out in Sapporo on Sunday for the first time since the end of the regular season. Tateyama has already expressed his desire to cross the ocean and play in the Majors next season. To that end, he has started using an MLB regulation ball for practice.
Said Tateyama, "I just switched the ball I use for practice [over to the MLB ball], other than that I haven't really done anything special. They play over 160 games in the US and have maybe one day off a month. I need to get my body ready [for that]."
