Tomoaki Kanemoto opts for rest and rehab for right shoulder

According to Sanspo, it seems Tomoaki Kanemoto (HAN) has decided against getting surgery on his right shoulder and will instead see if rest and rehab will be enough to address the pain.

I should probably add that this was something mentioned by chief trainer Shinji Ishihara, and not something that was directly taken from Kanemoto.

On keeping Kanemoto in a Hanshin uniform: the Tigers are apparently prepared to negotiate with Kanemoto anywhere he goes and will do what they can in order to keep him on the team.  Ideally, the Tigers would like to have Kanemoto squared away before the start of the Nippon Series.

Kanemoto made 450M yen this year.  The Tigers will likely offer him less for 2011 due to his drop in performance from last season.
