It seems Munenori Kawasaki isn't the only player on the Softbank Hawks with plans of testing the MLB FA market next season.
Tsuyoshi Wada will earn his international FA option next season and will be free to negotiate with MLB teams during the 2011 off-season. According to a number of unnamed sources, Wada is planning on exercising that option next year.
In August, Wada had this to say about his FA options:
There's no reason for me to exercise [my domestic FA option]. ... I think the international FA option is the real FA option. I think that will be something of a milestone.
Sponichi is also carrying an article that points to the possibility of Wada wanting to be posted this season if he doesn't feel any love from the Softbank Hawks.
