Nippon Ham Fighters
KTS Kagoshima TV is apparently in a bit of hot water after they apparently broadcasted Yuki Saito (1st round) saying he planned on signing with the Nippon Ham Fighters. during a telephone conversation with Yodai Enoshita (4th round), without Saito's permission. KTS apparently told Nikkan Sports that they were sorry for the fuss they caused.
The club is hoping to present Yuki Saito at their Fan Festival taking place on the 20th, but if Waseda ends up advancing at the Meiji Tournament, they may not get a chance to sit down and talk to him until after the 17th.
...met with Haruki Nishikawa (2nd round) yesterday. Nishikawa can run the 50m in 5.9 seconds and the Fighters imagine him batting third with Sho Nakata batting fourth.
...met with Kazuhisa Makita (2nd round) today. Said Makita, "It still hasn't sunk in yet. I think my strength is the tempo at which pitch and the fact that I'm a submariner. I'd like to continue working on my control after I turn pro and win at least 10 games."
