Tsuyoshi Nishioka apparently wants to be posted to the Majors and will sit down with Chiba Lotte Marines' front office tomorrow to let them know of his desire.
Nishioka's comment on posting:
"As captain of the team, I thought only of winning. That ultimately ended in a Nippon Series championship and in my mind, that's the end of a chapter. Now that the Nippon Series is over, I want to pursue the dreams I've had since I was a kid. I probably wouldn't be thinking this way if we didn't win the Nippon Series."
Club managing director Akira Ishikawa on Nishioka wanting to be posted:
"We understand his feelings completely. But he's also a very important piece of our club. We can't make any decisions until we sit down and talk to him."
