Rakuten Eagles agree to terms with Shinya Okamoto

According to Nikkan Sports, Okamoto got a 1-year deal worth 15M yen and the number 61.

The Eagles announced today that they agreed to terms with 36-year-old right-handed pitcher Shinya Okamoto.
Okamoto was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in 2000 and was later sent to the Seibu Lions as compensation for the Dragons' signing Kazuhiro Wada. The Lions released Okamoto after just 2 years and signed on with the LG Twins for 2010 season.
