Yakult Swallows fall camp ended on Sunday. Junji Ogawa pointed to Tatsuyoshi Masubuchi and Ryo Hidaka as two players he's looking forward to seeing next season.
Kenichi Matsuoka joins Shinya Miyamoto, Masanori Ishikawa, and Yoshinori Sato as the fourth Swallows' player to sign a contract with Mizuno.
The Swallows apparently played music from the K-pop girl group Kara during fall camp BP at Botchan Stadium. The team may continue to play the music during spring camp as well. Incidentally, while the music was likely selected was because of its upbeat tempo and currently popularity, general coach Takao Ise said that it might also be a good way to remind batters to use their hips (the group is well-known in Japan for the hip-gyrating dance moves).
