Nikkan Sports is reporting that the Orix Buffaloes offered Toru Hosokawa (SEI) a 3-year deal worth 450M yen plus whatever help he needs to find a new home and move his family.
In a separate Nikkan Sports report, they also mention that Hosokawa will be meeting with the Softbank Hawks later today, along with his wife. Seems he wants to make sure that his wife is fully on board with his decision to join the Hawks.
During the Lions' Fan Appreciation Day today, Hosokawa was greeted with calls to stay with the team.
The Chunich Dragons are apparently preparing to offer Mitsutaka Goto a deal that's better than the 3-year / 300M yen deal Orix Buffaloes are rumored to have given Goto before he decided to exercise his FA option. The Dragons have also already expressed their interest to Goto himself.
