Kenji Otonari apparently won't be joining the team on their victory trip to Hawai that begins on 12/13.  Otonari will instead stay back in Osaka in order to continue his training at Kinki University, his alma mater.  Seems he intent on improving his stamina and conditioning so that he can throw more complete games.

The Hawks are apparently planning on streaming Toru Hosokawa's (and if Seiichi Uchikawa signs) press conference live on the net.  The press conference will likely take place sometime around 12/8 (the day when the Hawks will be holding a press conference to announce their 2010 draft signings).

Incidentally, it seems Nishinippon Shimbun thinks that Uchikawa may be leaning towards the Hawks.

The Hawks held two baseball clinics in Saga on Saturday for about 200 kids.  This is part of their Baseball Kids 2010 in Kyushu program.

And Hiroki Kokubo held a baseball clinic in Wakayama for about 400 kids on Saturday.
