The Baseball Federation of Japan (BFJ) announced the start of the Olympic Baseball Players Clinic on 12/4 in Toyota, Aichi. The clinic will be coached by former Olympic baseball players and will be open to elementary and middle school kids. This is part of a movement to help bring baseball back into the Olympics, beginning with the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Former players like Atsuya Furuta (1988 Olympics) and Hiroki Kokubo (1992 Olympics) will help coach the event.
UPDATE (11/30 @ 12:15pm JST): the clinic will be open to about 150 kids and there will also be some time set aside for a panel discussion involving about 400 high school coaches.
