It appears Chang-Yong Lim hasn't completely given up on his MLB dreams, even though he opted to sign a 2-year deal with a mutual option for third year and will be 37 if he plays out all three years of his contract with the Swallows. As for why he decided to re-sign with the club, it seems his teammates played a big part. His comments from yesterday:
"I'm relieved the deal is done. I was drawn to stay because my teammates asked me to stay. That never happened when I played in Korea. ... The Majors? I'd like to go after three years. I could always go after two years. I still think I'm young enough."
