Kazuki Yoshimi met with the Chunichi Dragons today and was reportedly offered 117M yen (up 90M yen). Yoshimi apparently felt he deserved more and put the offer on hold. It seems the Dragons are emphasizing the drops in stats (2009: 16-7, 2.00 ERA vs 2010: 12-9, 3.50 ERA) while Yoshimi is stressing that he was pitching against different opponents (2009: Hiroshima 6 games, Yokohama 5 games, Yomiuri, Hanshin, and Yakult 3 games a piece vs 2010: Yomiuri 7 games, Hanshin 6 games, Hiroshima 4 games, Yakult 3 games, Yokohama 2 games).
