Chunichi Dragons

...agreed to terms with Yudai Ono (1st round) today.  Contract 15M yen, 100M yen bonus, 50M yen incentives.  The Dragons have now finished signing all their draft picks.

Yakult Swallows

...agreed to terms with Nariaki Kawasaki (6th round) today.  Contract 7.2M yen, bonus 30M yen.  Kawasaki was also assigned the number 64.

Chiba Lotte Marines

...agreed to terms with Naoya Emura (5th round) today.  Contract 6M yen, bonus 20M yen.

Nippon Ham Fighters

Kamagaya mayor Kiyoshi Shimizu is apparently excited about meeting Yuki Saito (1st round) during the city's welcoming ceremony in January.  Shimizu is also planning on personally accepting Saito's tenyutodoke (moving in notification). ... Saito was presented with an honorable mention at U-can New Word / Buzzword Award Ceremony earlier today.  The award was given to Saito for his use of the word motteru (持っている, which means to have) in his Tokyo Big 6 championship speech.  The portion of the speech from which it was taken: "I've been continually told that I have something.  And told I know what that something is.  That something is friends."

Rakuten Eagles

...agreed to terms with Toshihito Abe (3rd round) yesterday.  Contract 12M yen, bonus 55M yen.  Abe is hoping to absorb as much information as he can from both Akinori Iwamura and Kazuo Matsui.

Seibu Lions

...agreed to terms with Shogo Akiyama (3rd round) today. Contract 12M yen, bonus 50M yen.
