The Dragons held a practice session for 26 players (first and second years) at Nagoya Stadium on Tuesday.

Akifumi Takahashi also attended the session and did some running and threw about 50 pitches into a net.

According to Nikkan Sports, Masahiko Morino's 18 game-winning RBIs this season was tops in the league.  That's two straight seasons of leading the league in game-winning RBIs.

The media leaned that Takuya Asao was donating potted plants and trees to a child welfare center just outside of Nagoya for each win the team recorded this year.  All told, Asao apparently donated over 100 potted plants and trees for the teams 79 victories (a potted plant for each victory and a tree for every 3 wins).

Incidentally, it seems Asao decided to tie his donations into team wins instead of personal wins because he couldn't guarantee his health over the course of the season.
