Nikkan Sports points out a San Francisco Chronicle article that mentions the A's looking into Vladimir Guerrero and wonders how that will affect the market for Hideki Matsui.  The Chronicle article also goes on to mention that the Mariners, Orioles, and Rangers could be interested in Matsui -- the White Sox managed to sign Paul Konerko to a 3-year deal so they're likely out of it now.

A separate Nikkan Sports article drops the A's, Rays, Mariners, and Rangers as teams with interest in Matsui.  Arn Tellem is also quoted as saying that Matsui is looking for three things: playing everyday, playing for a winner, and playing for a team that supports him completely.
