Hiroshima Carp

Yuya Fukui (1st round) apparently built up his lower body by doing cross country skiing in the winter during his middle school years.

Yakult Swallows

Tetsuto Yamada (1st round) showed off his physical prowess during yesterday's 2010 draft pick introductions by walking around on his hands (about 5 meters).

Yuki Shichijo's (2nd round) nickname during his amateur playing days was Chirigami Oji (Tissue Paper Prince).

Chiba Lotte Marines

Suggested nicknames for the Shota's: Shota Ishimine (1st round) = Sho-chan; Shota Koike (4th round) = Koi-chan; and Shota Kurosawa (Ikusei 1st round) = Kuro-chan.

The Marines took their draft picks on a tour of Lotte Urawa Stadium and the player dorms today.  Junya Ishida (Ikusei 3rd round) said the player dorms were bigger than the place he used to live in and that while he played for Nomo Baseball Club, his practice sessions would start after work and run through to 1 or 2am in the morning.

Nippon Ham Fighters

Yuki Saito (1st round) was given a tour of the Fighter's facilities in Sapporo and was apparently impressed with what he saw.  He also met Kensuke Tanaka at the player dorms.

He is schedule to return to Tokyo later in the day.

Seibu Lions

The Lions six draft picks all got their team physicals today.
