Yoshinobu Takahashi spoke at a baseball forum for kids in Gifu on Thursday and said that he wasn't able to push himself hard this past season because he was concerned about the surgery he had on his back prior to the start of the season. But now that he's had close to a year to recover, Takahashi plans on going full out next season.
Tatsunori Hara expects his starters next season to go at least 7 innings while giving up, at the most, 3 runs.
Ryuichi Kajimae worked out at Giants Stadium on Thursday. Kajimae is trying to strengthen his body and spent parts of his time lifting weights. Kajimae plans on swinging the bat in early January.
