Rakuten Eagles sign Kelvin Jimenez to a 1-year deal

The Eagles held a press conference for Jimenez at the player's hotel in Kumejima, Okinawa today.

According to a tweet by Christopher Fanta, the contract is a 2-year deal worth US$1.6M.

The Rakuten Eagles announced today that they signed 30-year-old RHP Kelvin Jimenez to a 1-year deal worth 40M yen. They also assigned him the number 42.
Jimenez spent the past season with the Doosan Bears.
