Jiji Press reports that Guzman got a 1-year deal worth US$300,000 (about 25M yen) and the number 45; Carrasco a 1-year deal worth 150,000 (about 12.5M yen) and the number 48.

The Chunichi Dragons formally announced today that they not only signed 26-year-old OF Joel Guzman, but also 23-year-old INF Felix Carrasco.

Carrasco was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the San Diego Padres in 2006 and released in February this year.
