General pitching coach Kazuhisa Kawaguchi told reporters that Hirokazu Sawamura (1st round) will most likely start the year at Ichi-gun spring camp. A final decision probably won't be made until after the rookie training camp in January, but Kawaguchi nonetheless told reporters that he'd like to see Sawamura start things off a Ichi-gun spring camp.

Yuki Saito (1st round) doesn't plan on changing his hairstyle (or his glove) now that he's turned pro. On Sunday, Saito worked out for about an hour (running and playing catch) at the Waseda training facilities. He told reporters that Sunday was his last day working out at Waseda and that he would be returning to his home in Ota, Gunma. ... Eiichi Koyano's advice to Saito: find your style and stick to it. ... Saito moved out of his Waseda dorm today (10 boxes).
The Buffaloes announced today that rookies will move into the player dorms on 1/10/2011 and that rookie training camp will begin on the following day (1/11) at Skymarkk with days off on the 15th, 20th, and 25th.
The Seibu Lions announced on Monday that their rookie training camp will take place between 1/9 and 1/29 at Seibu 2 Stadium and at the indoor training facilities. Days off: 11, 15, 19, 23, 27. Bike training will take place on 1/17. All six draft picks will also move into the player dorms in Saitama on the 6th.
