As mentioned in an earlier post, the Marines have been thinking about putting the money they got from posting Tsuyoshi Nishioka towards making the fans happy. Team operations director Akira Ishikawa once again re-iterated those plans to reporters on Tuesday. And while the club still isn't quite sure where they'll be spending the money, it seems some of it may go into their Baseball Academy.
Said Ishikawa, "We want to use the money to help expand our fan base. ... Nishioka is also on board with our plan. We just want to make the fans happy [with this money]."
