Tuesday was the last day of business operations for the Dragons this year.
Masahiko Morino finished off the season with only 2 stolen bases. He's hoping he'll get the green light more next season.
Said Morino, "I think it was good that I was able to steal 2 bases this year. I'm also ready to run. But the manager never gives me the green light. I'd like to do more running next year. ... Even if I want to run, I can't if the manager doesn't give the sign. I'll of course run if I get the sign. So I'll make sure I'm at least ready for that."
Morino added, "I have 11 stolen bases over 14 years and I'd like to try and make that 15 stolen bases over 15 years. Everyone thinks I'm slow so I'd like to use that [to my advantage] and catch them when they least expect it."
