Sponichi reports that the Hanshin Tigers may reach out to Hiroyuki Kobayashi as early as the 11th and offer him a multi-year deal. According to Kobayashi's agent, Alan Nero, around 7-8 teams seem to have an interested in the 32-year-old, but have yet to offer any concrete deals. But at this point, it appears Kobayashi is prepared to wait for an MLB offer until about mid-February. If he doesn't get anything by then, he may also begin fielding offers from NPB teams.
Sanspo mentions the Tigers' offer will likely be on or over the 200M yen mark since Kobayashi made 170M yen last season.
