Hiroyuki Kobayashi told reporters today that while he's not in rush to get something done, he would like to know more about where he'll be playing before the end of the month. As of now, Kobayashi still has not received any serious leads and may have driven off whatever interest clubs had in him when he said that he had no interest in signing a minor league deal.
"I'm not worried, but I need to make a decision soon," said Kobayashi. "I'd like to get something done before the end of the month."
When asked if he would accept an invite to spring training, he replied, "That's a little tight. A major league deal would be best."
