The Buffaloes held a press conference for Saito today and was assigned the number 45.

The Marines held a press conference for Mitsuhara at Chiba Marine Stadium today.

The Buffaloes will hold a press conference for Saito on the 27th. His new uniform number will be announced at the press conference.

The deal was formally announced by both clubs today. Mitsuhara will get the number 43. No decision on Saito's number yet.

The Chiba Lotte Marines and Orix Buffaloes finalized their trade. The Marines will send 27-year-old catcher Toshio Saito to the Buffaloes for 30-year-old RHP Atsuhiro Mitsuhara. An announcement of the deal will likely be made soon.
