Chan Ho Park threw 44 pitches in the bullpen (including curves and change-ups beginning with the 31st pitch) today -- it was his second bullpen session in as many days.
More on Park's session from Wednesday: he threw a total 25 pitches -- 24 fastballs and the last pitch was a change. He later told reporters that he only managed 12 strikes out of the 25 pitches he threw. And that within the 12 strikes he threw, he was only satisfied with about 5 of his pitches. He gave the session a 50-60% rating.
Evan MacLane and Alfredo Figaro also tossed bullpen sessions today (they pitched in the same group as Park). MacLane showed good control during his session while Figaro showed power in his.
Hiroshi Kisanuki threw 101 pitches in the bullpen today. He threw at about 70% and also mixed in some off-speed pitches. Kisanuki later told reporters he was thinking more about the number of pitches than about the actual quality of the pitches during his session today.
Takahiro Okada took 75 swings of the bat on Wednesday and hit 5 over the fence. And for the second straight day, he batted in the same group as Seung-Yeop Lee.
