Hichori Morimoto cut his practices short today due to discomfort in his right shoulder.  Morimoto told reporters he thought he may have over-stretched the shoulder while taking BP.

Pro wrestler Super Delfin dropped by Bay Stars' camp in Ginowan today and put Yoshitomo Tsutsugo in a Mexican Stretch hold.


During early morning shouting practice today, Shigeru Kaga said the following:

I want to go for double-digit wins this year.  I want to do my best for the team.


The Ni-gun team arrived in Naha airport yesterday for the second leg of the spring camp schedule (Kadena, Okinawa).  Kadena camp will run through to the 22nd.  After that, the Ni-gun team will return to Yokosuke, Kanagawa for the final block of spring camp (2/24 - 2/28).


11 of Kisho Kagami's (2nd round) family / relatives greeted the 22-year-old at Naha airport yesterday.


Team president Takao Kaji told reporters yesterday how nice it would be to have a victory parade in Ginowan, Okinawa as a way to thank the city for their support over the last 25 years.


Ginowan mayor Takeshi Asato is hoping that the roughly 93,000 people living in Ginowan will stay in Ginowan to watch and support the Bay Stars instead of head off to Nago to see Yuki Saito and the Nippon Ham Fighters.
