The Japan Student Baseball Association (JSBA) held a trustees meeting on Wednesday to finalize the changes to their charter that will allow pro teams to "mix" with amateur teams (high school and college levels).
Amongst the major changes:
Pro teams (not including independent league teams) will now be allowed to play college teams (not including high school teams) in the months of March and August (games must be free admission).
Pro players will now be able to work out at their Alma maters and invite other pro players that never attended school.
The updated charter will go into effect on 3/1.
