Shikoku Island League plus feeling good about their future

by on Feb.24, 2011 @ 10:56 pm, under Independent

The Shikoku Island League plus announced that they ended the 2010 season less than 100M yen in the red.  League CEO Makoto Kagiyama said that it was the least amount of money they lost in one season since the start of the league in 2005.  Kagiyama pointed to each of the clubs working harder to create closer ties to local communities as a factor that has help improve finances.

Hello. I enjoy your site! You have good news on independent and NPB news. I used to play for the Kishu Rangers in it’s first season back in 2009. The 2010 season I played for a company team in Okinawa called Enagic. This year I’m not playing, but hoping for a return to the independent leagues, hopefully I will tryout for Shikoku League for 2012 season or 2013. By then I’ll be pushing 29 and 30 years of age.

Thanks for the blog! Good stuff!
