It appears that was Eri Yoshida’s last outing of the AWL. She finished with a 14.73 ERA over 11 innings of work.

AWL draft held and Eri not selected. 59 players selected of the approx 200 players. I think the state of Indy baseball in the US financially, requires them to draft players that are immediate contributors. My best to Eri, and hopefully she will return where she can better grow into the game amongst her fans.

You’re welcome, Gen! I wish Eri the best, and hope she finds a place and a mentor who will help her develop as a player — absent the media attention –where she can focus on skill development. She is young and has plenty of time if she sticks with it!
