Hiroki Sanada threw 50 pitches in the bullpen today.  Sanada is making his way back from right knee surgery and began the year at Ni-gun spring camp.  He was called up to Ichi-gun spring camp for the start of the 5th block (2/23) and has continued to show improvement.

Sanada - "I'm doing a lot better than I thought I'd be doing.  I'd like to pitch in maybe 2 Ikusei League games before being called up to the Ichi-gun roster.  Hopefully I'll be ready for the start of the regular season."
