According to a report filed by Nikkan Sports, Hiromitsu Ochiai isn't worried about this year's opening day starter, even though his two of his best pitchers (Wei-Ying Chen and Kazuki Yoshimi) probably won't be healthy to make the active roster.
"Everyone seems to be worried [about the opening day starter]. I have absolutely no worries," said Ochiai. "I'll just use turn to the pitcher that's doing the best on opening day."
Ochiai does still have a fairly wide selection of opening day starters to choose from, like Kenta Asakura, Nelson Maximo, Yudai Kawai, Daisuke Yamai, and Kenichi Nakata.
