For the first time since undergoing surgery on his left knee, Kenji Jojima caught a bullpen session (Jason Standridge, 50 pitches) while squatting on Tuesday (3/1). He later told reporters that he felt no discomfort and that he was satisfied with the session. If he continues to improve without hitting any significant bumps in the road, he could play in his first exhibition game on 3/9.
Jojima was also slated to take BP outdoors on Tuesday, but couldn't due to the rain.
